End of Year Reflection – Greatest High School Achievement

My end of the year Reflection
I did really well in some of my classes including Miss Prieter's class. At first I didn't do the homework and classwork. I slacked off a lot in class. Toward  the end of the school year I started doing better on my classwork and homework but it was already too late for me to catch up on the classwork that I didn't do. My greatest high school achievement is getting along with with high school students and my teachers. Another achievement is playing sports for a high school team. It was a great experience for me because it taught team work and to get along as a team. I hope next year I do better in school and homework. Doing better in school is my goal for next year.

How have you changed since freshman year?

When I was a freshmen, I was a better student then I am now. The reason I say that is because I was on my work and classwork. For example during the first part of my freshman year, I loved doing my work at Rancho Buena Vista High School.  When I became a Sophomore at San Pasqual Academy, I gave up. Another reason I gave up is because I hate this school a lot. I hated it  because of the teachers and the work they gave out. Rather be in regular high school then this school really. That's why when I become an 11 grader I would go all out on my grades. This shows that I can do good in regular High School.

Academic Language Week 29 - School Conferences

I think parents should not face jail time because they don't go to their kids conference. The reason why I say that is because parents are always busy and they can't be in two places at one time because some parents might have to work. Another reason is Teachers could write what happens at their students conference and give the letter to the parents, or the teachers can write an email to the parents telling them what their child needs to improve on or needs help in. The teacher can always call and talk to the child's parent and talk about what they talked about at the student conference. Additionally the teacher or the student can talk to their parents and see what went on at the students conference. No parents should go to jail just for missing their kids conference.

Poetry Previous Knowledge Paragraph

I have experienced poetry in school and in class. I think Poetry is an form that has gone through numerous and drastic reinvention over time. I really don’t know a lot about poetry. I would like to learn more about poetry. When I was in elementary school, I herd poetry and I didn’t know what to think of it. The only time I read poetry was in elementary school and ninth grade I wish I had under stand it better because I think poetry is a good thing to know. I rather read a story because I would understand it better than poetry. Outside of school, I herd about poetry but I didn’t really know what it’s was. This year I hope that I can learn more about poetry.
