Poetry Previous Knowledge Paragraph

I have experienced poetry in school and in class. I think Poetry is an form that has gone through numerous and drastic reinvention over time. I really don’t know a lot about poetry. I would like to learn more about poetry. When I was in elementary school, I herd poetry and I didn’t know what to think of it. The only time I read poetry was in elementary school and ninth grade I wish I had under stand it better because I think poetry is a good thing to know. I rather read a story because I would understand it better than poetry. Outside of school, I herd about poetry but I didn’t really know what it’s was. This year I hope that I can learn more about poetry.

Academic Language Week 21 - Steroids

I think steroids should never be used in any kind of sports. The reason I say that is because when people take steroids it’s a drug that’s makes you stronger an bigger in a fast period of time without really trying then an average person trys. In a PERIOD of time of taking steroids you will have acne, lost of height, change characteristics of men, strokes, liver damage, a devilment breast tissue in men. PRIMARLY steroids damage your body and your heath when you get older. I think the TRADITION of any kind of sport should not allow steroids. It wouldn’t make any kind of sports fun because everybody would be strong and big so there will be lots of injuries. That’s why I think steroids are unhealthy for people.

Second Semester 2012 Goals

My goal for the second semester of the 2011-2012 school years is to do all my homework every night. I selected this goal because I never do my homework when I come back from school. I will achieve this goal by staying focus when its time to do study hour. If I need help I would go to the café when it study hour and try to get my homework down up there. At the end of the semester, I will know I achieved my goal by doing my homework every night. I know that am going to start doing better in school and on my homework. I know that I would achieve my goal second semester.

"The Storyteller" Another Point of View

I am so lucky that I was chosen to go to the prince's garden beacuse I was a really good kid. I had three gold medals for being really good that's why the prince invited me to go to his park. When I walked into the prince's garden, I thought that this is one of the best park's that I ever been in. I was skiping though the park huring all the bird sing when Suddenly, I saw a wolf that wolf look very hungry. Bertha wished that she have never went to the park. The wolf had eaten Bertha.

My favorite book from childhood is Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.  I like this book because I was really little and I like the auther Dr. Seuss. The story is about a guy telling people if they like green eggs an ham. So he goes around with a plate of green eggs and ham and telling people if they had try it. The reson I like this book is beacuse my elementry teacher made us green eggs and ham and we sat and watch the movie in class. Then I got to fall asleep after the ended. It was really fun that are teacher did all that.
